We started a book club to write books.

What’s your story?

Join the Club

Come write your book with us.

We support the art of storytelling in all of its messy, magical, wildly imaginative forms.

We’re built on three pillars.

Wordcraft in the Age of AI
We celebrate the authentic, the imperfect, the voices and ideas algorithms and AI can’t replicate.

Writing for Wellbeing
Science says writing boosts clarity, lowers stress, and builds resilience. We call it creative therapy.

Working Alone, Together
Writing is lonely. We’re not. Our community turns the solo struggle into shared joy — and yes, we make it fun.

Because if you were going to finish it alone, you would’ve by now.

What is a silent writing session?

Picture this: a Zoom full of writers, all muted, all working on word art. 50 minutes of pure, glorious, accountable silence—with a squad of strangers cheering you on in spirit.

Feeling bold? Share a line or two in the last 10 (or keep it secret—no pressure).

Drop in once, or crash every week—your call. It’s free, it’s fun, and the perfect place to set your intentions and watch your word count climb.

Alix has over two decades of marketing experience building brands and ghostwriting for innovative scientists, renowned physicians, higher education leaders, and professional athletes. She holds a Bachelor’s in Communication and a Master’s in Biology, earning the University of Washington’s Department of Communication Outstanding Early Career Award in 2016. When she’s not shaping thought leadership or tending to her award-winning vegetable garden, she’s dreaming up and drafting fiction novels.

Stacy is a published ghostwriter with extensive experience crafting self-improvement books, memoirs, romance novels, and fiction, along with articles on health, wellness, education, and lifestyle. She holds a Master of Arts in Teaching and a Master of Fine Arts in Writing, and has taught English and Creative Writing at the high school and university levels. When she’s not writing for others with Story Stem, teaching, or running many miles, she dives into her own fiction with the same insight and artistry that shape her clients’ stories.
